Kazakh Ambassador held meetings in Riyadh

ASTANA. June 8 KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Kairat Lama-Sharif met with Chairman of the Consultative Council of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Al-Sheikh and Secretary General of the Muslim World League Sheikh Abdullah Al-Turky within the preparation to the III Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
Abdullah Al-Sheikh appreciated the initiative of President N.Nazarbayev on convocation of the Congress of Religious Leaders. The Chairman of the Consultative Council confirmed his intention to take part in the Forum and noted that Saudi Arabia supports the efforts of Kazakhstan on this direction.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Turky confirmed his interest in participation in the work of the Congress. He noted that the Muslim World League made great contribution to the work of previous two Congresses of Leader of World and Traditional Religions in 2003 and 2006.
