Kazakh Agriculture Minister tours Karaganda region

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM Kazakh Agriculture Minister Asylzhan Mamytbekov paid a working visit to the Karaganda region, the press service of the region's akimat said.
Asylzhan Mamytbekov and governor of the region Baurzhan Abdishev surveyed farm machinery used at the farms of the region, visited an exhibition illustrating the region's agro-industrial complex development and the construction site of the modular district veterinary laboratory. Later on the minister chaired the meeting of the Agrarian Council focused on preparations for the spring sowing campaign. Governors of rural districts, heads of regional departments, farm enterprises, KazAgro development institutes and agrarians attended the sitting. As stated there, the region will plant grain crops on 686,000 ha, oil-bearing crops on 27,000 ha and sow forage crops on 21.000 ha.
