Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulates teachers on professional holiday
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated teachers on their professional holiday and expressed gratitude for their commitment and hard work, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the Akorda press service.
The Head of State highlighted large-scale work carried out in the country to bolster the education sector.
The President reminded that a special Law “On the status of a teacher” aimed at the protection of the rights and legal interests of teachers was adopted. The wages of teachers grew. The high state award, the title Kazakhstannyn enbek sinirgen ustazy was established in Kazakhstan. 46 teachers received the award so far.
The Head of State said some 16,000 grants were allocated this year to train teachers.
