Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrives in Jordan on official visit
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for an official visit, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The Kazakh leader was welcomed by Prince Ali bin Hussein and Prime Minister of Jordan Jafar Hassanat at the Queen Alia International Airport.
It’s expected that President Tokayev will hold talks with King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein in extended and narrow formats, following which a number of bilateral documents will be adopted.
Earlier, Kazinform News Agency presented an article on the relations between Astana and Amman.
As earlier reported, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is set to pay an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on February 18-19 at the invitation of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
