Kashagan to produce 2 mln tons of oil in 2014

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan will produce 2 mln tons of oil at the Kashagan filed in 2014," Oil and Gas Minister Uzakbai Karabalin told a press conference in Astana.
According to him, last year Kazakhstan's total oil production reached 81.7 mln tons that is 3.2% more against 2013. "This year we plan 83 mln tons. Thereat, we suggest that Kashagan may also go onstream," the Minister added.
