Kashagan oil may be transported by Kazakhstan-China line

ASTANA. October 9. KAZINFORM - The oil from the Kashagan field may be transported by the Kazakhstan-China oil pipeline if China will offer an attractive price, this has been stated by Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbay Karabalin at a press conference in Astana within the VIII Eurasian Kazenergy Forum.
He reminded that in accordance with the agreement each member of the consortium developing Kashagan field chooses routes for oil transportation.
Chairman of the Board of "KazMunayGas" JSC Sauat Mynbayev has reported that oil production from the field reached 60,000 barrels per day.
Note: Kazakhstan-China oil pipeline a parity with the Chinese side is owned by "KazTransOil " JSC which is a debutant of "People's IPO'' program.
