Karim Massimov elected as Chairman of EDB Council

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - On February 6, Moscow hosted the session of the Council of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).
The session brought together Vice Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia Iosif Isayan, Finance Minister of Belarus Vladimir Amarin, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov, Finance Minister of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov, Finance Minister of Kyrgyzstan Olga Lavrova, Finance Minister of Russia Anton Siluanov, Vice Minister of Finance of Russia Dmitriy Pankin and Finance Minister of Tajikistan Abdusalom Kurbonov. At the session, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov was elected as the Chairman of the Council. Dmitriy Pankin was named as the Chairman of the Board of the bank. He is expected to assume the office on February 18. Besides, the Council appointed new Deputy Chairman of the Board - Maksim Korzhov.
