Karaganda policemen donate blood for victims of road accidents

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM -Police officers of Karaganda have donated blood for the victims of road accidents in the regional blood center, the press service of the regional Internal Affairs Department reported.
"The action was part of the republican road safety week. The campaign has been participated by 65 employees, 20 of whom are regular donors," the statement reads. According to the regional Internal Affairs Department, since the beginning of the year 775 accidents have been recorded as a result of which 171 people died and 947 were injured. World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is celebrated every third Sunday of November. In Karaganda the convoy of black cars will pass through the streets of the city.
