Karaganda Oblast to partake in Minsk business forum
The program of the visit envisages a business forum that is to be organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Karaganda Oblast.
The Kazakhstani delegation is expected to hold meetings in the government of Belarus and visit a number of Belarusian companies. "The two parties are expected to discuss trade and economic cooperation, development of production cooperation as well as cooperation in agriculture," Andrei Savinykh said.
The trade between Karaganda Oblast and Belarus reached $122.9 million last year, going up 73.8% as against 2011. Belarus main exports include railroad cars, dairy products, motor transport vehicles, tires, furniture and medications. Belarus imports Karaganda products of ferrous metals and conveyer belts, BelTA reports.
