Karaganda Oblast delegation to visit Belarus 9-10 April

The delegation will be led by Akim of Karaganda Oblast of Kazakhstan Baurzhan Abdishev. Minsk will play host to a Belarusian-Kazakhstani business forum with the participation of representatives of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, BCCI, the FEZ Minsk administration. A business matchmaking session will welcome companies of the Republic of Belarus and Karaganda Oblast, Kazinform refers to BelTA.

An action plan on trade, economic and cultural cooperation for 2013-2014 will be signed between the Akimat of Karaganda Oblast and the Brest Oblast Executive Committee. The Kazakhstani delegation is expected to hold meetings in the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee and visit a number of Belarusian companies.

The companies of Belarus and Karaganda Oblast will have an opportunity to hold bilateral meetings and negotiations regarding the investment in joint projects, cooperation in energy and heat supply systems, production of water supply and sewage pump stations, apparel, footwear and fermented milk products. Karaganda companies are interested in the implementation of joint projects, new markets and opportunities to invest in the region.

The organizer of the event is the BCCI Office in Minsk in association with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the North-Kazakhstan Oblast.
