Kadyrov offers $326,000 for info about attackers on his home village

MOSCOW. September 3. KAZINFORM Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said he was ready to pay ten million rubles ($326,000) for true information about the location of militants who attacked his home village in late August; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

Militant leaders Aslambek Vadalov and Zaurbek Avdorkhanov are suspected of organizing an attack on Chechnya's village of Tsentoroi, the first in six years. A total of 12 militants and five police officers were killed in clashes, while 17 police and seven civilians were injured.

"I officially state that I would pay ten million rubles for true information about each of those militant leaders," Kadyrov said.

He called on citizens to report to police stations, saying that fighting extremism was "a duty of every Muslim"; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
