KADYRGALI BI KOSSYMULY ZHALAIRI, KADYR ALI-BEK IBN KHOSHUM-BEK DZHALAIRI (near 1555-1607) – a great scientist, diplomat, outstanding political figure, who lived in the XVI century, author of ?Zhami at-tauarikh?.
As a historian he left the people a very valuable historical work. It is ?Zhami at-tauarikh? - a historical writing, which develops the events that took place in Kazakhstan and Central Asia in the XIII-XV centuries. According to S.Ualikhanov?s estimates, this work is one of the most important sources on the history of Kazakhstan.
Kadyrgali Zhalairi was an advisor to Khan Shibanid Kuchum. At the beginning of XVI century he became a teacher of young sultan Oraz-Mukhammed ? a son of sultan Ondan.
In 1600 Kadyrgali wrote his famous book.
The book is aimed at prove that Oraz-Mukhammed was worthy of the khan?s throne and demonstration of justice of Czar Boris Godunov.
K.Zhalairi work is valuable for its data on how any sultan, khan died and where he is buried.
