KADEX-2010 Intl exposition of arms and military equipment opened in Astana

ASTANA. May 26. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ First International Exhibition of Arms and Military-Technical Equipment KADEX-2010 has been opened today in Astana with the participation of Kazakh and Turkish Presidents.

Over 200 companies from more than 20 countries of the world have demonstrated their achievements in armament and military equipment, IT and communications, construction and infrastructure, logistics property and military medicine.

More than 100 stands were prepared by Kazakhstani enterprises manufacturing products for the Armed Forces of the country.

As Minister of Defense Adilbek Dzhaksybekov notes, KADEX-2010 is a good opportunity for the republic to attract the largest foreign manufacturers of military and special products, to show the prospects of further development of domestic enterprises within establishment of modern high-technological productions.

The event is organized by Astana-Expo Company.

It should be noted that the official opening ceremony of the exhibition will be held May 26-27 and will be opened only for delegations and experts. Later May 28 and 29 the exposition will be open to all comers.
