Kabibulla Dzhakupov and Kövér László discuss inter-parliamentary partnership
During the meeting the parties stressed the importance of negotiations between the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban in the framework of the 10th Summit of "Asia-Europe" Forum held in Milan. Noting that our country is interested in the development of long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with the European Union, K. Dzhakupov emphasized that Kazakhstan considers Hungary as a strategic partner in Central and Eastern Europe. Majilis speaker noted Kazakhstan's willingness to become a "bridge" between Hungary and the countries of Central Asia. The meeting also discussed mutual support in the framework of international parliamentary organizations. Majilis Chairman noted that Hungary has been granted observer status in the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkish Speaking Countries. He congratulated his Hungarian counterpart on the event and invited him to participate in the 6th meeting of TurkPA.
