K. Tokayev drew attention of senators to National Plan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - On May 25, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev held a sitting of the Senate. During the sitting, he drew the attention of senators to the National Plan - 100 steps for implementation of five institutional reforms initiated by Head of State N. Nazarbayev . K. Tokayev noted the uniqueness of the program proposed by the President, the press service of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan informs.

He gave instructions to study the National Plan use it when conducting the legislative work. "Implementation of the National Plan will allow our country to get to a new level of development and also help join the top 30 most developed world countries. We have to contribute to implementation of this program," the Speaker said.

On May 28, senators will consider draft laws "On ratification of the agreement between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on trust measures regarding border issues", "On ratification of the agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of Kyrgyzstan on the activity of the border representatives", "On peacekeeping activity of Kazakhstan", "On amendments to several legislative acts of Kazakhstan regarding the issues of water supply and water discharge, extending loans and subsidizing housing and utility sector.
