K.Tokayev and S. Soni discuss Kazakhstan President’s upcoming visit to SA

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Senate Speaker Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has received the Ambassador of South Africa in Kazakhstan Manaklal Shirish Soni at his request, the press service of the Senate informs.

Speaker of the Senate noted that Kazakhstan is interested in the development of multilateral cooperation with South Africa.

According to Mr.Tokayev, inter-parliamentary contacts are important for both countries. He invited the elected representatives of South Africa to visit Kazakhstan. Speaker of the Senate informed the Ambassador on the preparations for the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions which will take place next year.

Sh.Soni in turn informed Mr.Tokayev on preparations for the forthcoming state visit of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to South Africa. Speaker of the Senate said that Kazakhstan President's visit will give a strong impetus to the development of collaboration between the two countries in various fields.
