K.Saudabayev held telephone conversations with Foreign Ministers of Russia, Lithuania and Afghanistan

ASTANA. January 6. KAZINFORM Kazakh Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev held telephone conversations with Foreign Ministers of Russia Sergey Lavrov, Lithuania Vygaudas Usackas, Afghanistan Rangeen Dadfar Spanta, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports.

At the meeting with Sergey Lavrov the sides expressed satisfaction with the results of the Kazakh-Russian bilateral cooperation in 2009. The interlocutors discussed the main directions of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation in 2010. The Russian minister congratulated Kazakhstan on the OSCE chairmanship and wished successes in execution of this mission.

The Lithuanian Foreign Minister congratulated his Kazakh colleague on the Kazakhstan's assumption to the post of the OSCE chairman and expressed readiness of Lithuania to close cooperation with Kazakhstan within the OSCE Troika.

The Afghan Foreign Minister supported the initiative of the Kazakh President on conduction of the OSCE Summit, where the Afghan issues will be one of the most important. R.Spanta expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for the help to Afghanistan and establishment of special educational program that will provide a thousand of Afghan children with an opportunity to receive education in our country.
