K.Saudabayev held negotiations with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister

Upon the meeting a meeting in privy the Heads of Foreign Ministries held enlarged negotiations on the issues of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.

At the press conference K.Saudabayev thanked the Azerbaijani side for support of the Kazakh candidature to the post of the OSCE chairman and realization of the initiative of the Kazakh President on holding of the OSCE Summit and informed on the purpose of his visit.

According to him, the last summit of the Organization was held in Istanbul 11 years ago and many threats demanding attention of the Organization have arisen since that time.

In this regard, as the Kazakh Minister said, it is important to hear the conflicting parties in order to develop particular measures of the Organization to contribute to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict this year. He said that Kazakhstan has all reasons and additional resources lying in the fact that Astana is familiar with the history of the conflict and has friendly relations with the parties of the conflict.

"We had very constructive negotiations with my colleague Elmar Mamedyarov. Important meeting with President Ilham Aliyev is planned as well. I believe that upon the results of these meeting we well receive necessary recommendations basic for our actions", K.Saudabayev said.
