K.Saudabayev, H.Clinton discussed coop within OSCE

KABUL. July 20. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Within the International Conference on Afghanistan taking place in Kabul OSCE Chairman-in-office, Kazakh Secretary of State Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev met with U.S. State Secretary Hilary Clinton.
Topical issues of bilateral cooperation within the OSCE were discussed at the meeting. The interlocutors noted that the decision on holding the OSCE Summit in Kazakhstan this year was very important and discussed practical issues of the Summit conduction.
H. Clinton highly appraised the activity of Kazakhstan as the OSCE presiding country on settlement of the situation in Kyrgyzstan. She also said that the Agreement on land transit to Afghanistan through Kazakhstan adopted in July was a significant contribution to the work of the international coalition on stabilization of Afghanistan.
