Kazakh-Jordanian relations are different from any because of many contacts among high political echelons. The heads of the two countries meet every year within mutual visits and within many international events.

According to the statistics of Kazakhstan, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Jordan made USD 30.6 mln in 2009. The index amounted to USD 12.9 mln in January-July of 2010.

The project on increasing the volume of trade turnover is going to be the export of Kazakh grain to the Kingdom.

480 thousand tons of grain were exported to Jordan in 2003.

Pharmaceutics is one more prospective sphere of cooperation. The sides are also interested in defense industry cooperation.
