K.Massimov and S.Day discuss trade-economic relations of Kazakhstan and Canada

ASTANA. September 24. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held a meeting with Minister of International Trade of Canada Stockwell Day in the Ukimet Uiy; The Kazakh Government's press service notes.
The issues of further implementation of the current potential in trade-economic relations of the two countries were discussed at the meeting.
The sides expressed interest in strengthening cooperation in the sphere of mutual encouragement and protection of investments and in the energy sector.
Kazakh Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev and Canadian Minister of International Trade Stockwell Day signed a protocol on plans in the context of cooperation in the sphere of peaceful use of atomic energy.
