K. Kelimbetov: Conclusion of promising contracts with foreign investors - new stage in implementation of industrial-innovative development program

ALMATY. June 3. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ Conclusion of promising contracts with foreign investors is a new stage in the country's economic development within the industrialization program, Chairman of SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund Kairat Kelimbetov said at the IV Kazakhstan Investment Forum in Almaty today.

Following the first day of the Investment Forum nine large agreements between the leading national companies of the country (KazMunayGas, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and other business structures) with the European and Asian investors have been signed. The Head of SamrukKazyna noted their importance for national economy. The documents regard transport engineering, petrochemistry and other sectors of economy.

In particular, SamrukKazyna Fund and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development have entered into an agreement on establishment of a Kazakhstan Capital Restructuring Fund С.V. "Kazyna Capital Management" JSC and ADM Capital International Company are the initial investors of the Fund.

At the initial stage capitalization of the new Fund will make USD 100 mln.
