Jurgen Melzer beats Kazakh tennis player in Round 1 of Barcelona Open

BARCELONA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani professional tennis player Mikhail Kukushkin is out of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
The 26-year-old Kukushkin succumbed to Austrian Jurgen Melzer in the first round match. It took Melzer 2 hours and 28 minutes and three sets (7:6, 3:6, 6:3) to send the Kazakh tennis player home. In the third round Melzer will face off with 7th seed of the tournament Jerzy Janowicz from Poland.
