Kazakhstani Gusman Kyrgyzbayev failed to reach the Men's 66kg Judo Final at the 2024 Paris Games, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Brazilian Willian Lima defeated Kyrgyzbayev by ippon in the semifinal.
In the Elimination Round of 16, he overwhelmed South Korea’s two-time Olympic medalist An Baul. Prior to that, he defeated Spanish David Garcia Torne in the Elimination Round of 32.
