Judoka Gusman Kyrgyzbayev advances to 2024 Olympics quarterfinal

Kazakh judoka Gusman Kyrgyzbayev, who competes in men’s 66 kg, defeated South Korea’s two-time Olympic medalist An Baul in the Elimination Round of 16 of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games held in the Champ-de-Mars Arena.
Earlier, Kyrgyzbaev won over Spanish athlete David Garcia Torne (Spain) in the Elimination Round of 32.
Gusman Kyrgyzbayev, born 1992, is a native of Tolebi district of Turkistan region.
