Journalists of Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex undergo training at Al Jazeera Media Institute
A team of personnel of the TV and Radio Complex of the Kazakh President underwent one-week intensive training at the Al Jazeera Media Institute in Doha, Kazinform News Agency reports.

During one-week special training centered on work with AI, Kazakhstani journalists studied theoretical aspects, capabilities of AI in content creation, tested different editing technologies, streamlining and producing media materials as well as practical use of AI tools in content creation.
Each participant also had the chance to work on his own project using AI tools.
The training also focused on ethical aspects of AI, its potential risks and responsibility when using it.
According to Eman Al Amri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, ‘it’s difficult to keep up with AI technologies that are developing rapidly across the world’.

We invite top educators that are well-oriented in the media market and teach our students the latest trends. For example, AI technologies are progressing minute by minute or as we speak. We strive to provide our students with up-to-date knowledge, that can be immediately put into practice, she said.
To note, it is the second project between the TV and Radio Complex of the Kazakh President and Al Jazeera Media Institute, which aims at promoting professional skills of Kazakhstani journalists.
In April last year, the two media companies kicked off the project Al Jazeera Week, with over 100 students of the Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU) embarking on one-week training from world-level lecturers and journalists. It was agreed to host the 2nd edition of the Al Jazeera Week project in April 2025 in Astana, with the Qatari media corporation’s specialists delivering master classes and seminars for students of the International School of Journalism at the Maqsut Narikbayev University.
In February 2024, the TV and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Al Jazeera Media Network concluded an agreement on cooperation as part of the state visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Qatar.
