José Manuel Barroso congratulates Nazarbayev on election win

BRUSSELS. April 8. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso has congratulated the Head of State on a confident victory in the presidential elections. The Kazakh Embassy in Belgium reports.
"I would like to congratulate you on being reelected as President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The European Commission is looking forward to continuation and expansion of relations of the European Union with your country.
The European Commission is ready to negotiate further strengthening of our cooperation as the discussions with your Government of the issues representing mutual interest moves forward," a telegram reads.
