IV Civil Forum to promote Kazakhstan's progress in civil society consolidation

KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "The peculiarity of the IV Civil Forum should become the demonstration of the new level of development of civil society able to implement principles of the social monitoring of transparency and state bodies' reporting to the citizens", Executive Director of Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan Sholpan Aitenova has said at the sitting of the social council in Almaty today.
According to her, the Civil Forum should become a trendy project of the state, promote achievements of Kazakhstan in the civil society consolidation and interaction with the authorities and business through the mechanism of social partnership. In this context and on the threshold of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE it is proposed to increase the number of foreign participants of the forum and invite international delegations from the USA, Germany, Russia, European Parliament, UN, UNDP and etc.
