Italian Ambassador Pieri ends diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today, Secretary of State Adilbek Dzhaksybekov has received H.E. Alberto Pieri, Ambassador of Italy to Kazakhstan, Kazinform has learnt from the Akorda press service.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the end of Ambassador Pieri's diplomatic mission in the country. The Secretary of State thanked the envoy for his tangible contribution to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Italy in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. In 2013, sales turnover between Kazakhstan and Italy exceeded $16.2 billion. Italy is the second largest trade partner of Kazakhstan among European countries. At the meeting in the Akorda presidential residence, the sides also discussed state and prospects of further cooperation and running of the EXPO-2015 in Milan and EXPO-2017 in Astana.
