ASTANA. April 8. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "It is an honor for me to be elected as Head of State in the year of the 20th anniversary of our independence," N. Nursultan Nazarbayev noted at the Palace of Independence.
The Head of State emphasized that it was respect of the people of Kazakhstan reflected in the election result.
"I'm grateful to all the people of our country for their support in the elections. It is the best evaluation of our work we have conducted on architecting such a prosperous state as our Kazakhstan," he emphasized.
The reelected President also expressed gratitude to foreign friends. "I am also grateful to all true friends and partners of our country around the world. I have already received a lot of congratulations from the Presidents of Russia, China, the CIS countries, European Union and many others and I still receive," he concluded.
