Istanbul held roundtable on 15th anniversary of Kazakhstan Constitution

ISTANBUL. August 11. KAZINFORM /Irina Dynnikova/ A roundtable devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Kazakhstan Constitution was held at WOW congress centre in Istanbul, Turkey. The event was organized by Turkey-Kazakhstan friendship society.

The roundtable brought together scientists, diplomats and journalists. Consul General of Kazakhstan to Istanbul Askar Shokybayev said that the Constitution of Kazakhstan adopted in 1995 gave an opportunity to conduct economic, social and political reforms, to preserve inter-ethnic accord and harmony in the country which had become a motherland for the representatives of over 130 nationalities and ethnic groups.
Popular Turkish writer and journalist Harun Tokak in his speech noted that due to hard work of Kazakh Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev and due to the Constitution our country became a "rising star" of the Central Asian region and took a worthy place in the world community.
