Issues of holding of International Conference of Asian Political Parties in Astana discussed

ASTANA. February 6. KAZINFORM Deputy Chairman of ?Nur Otan? National Democratic Party Darkhan Kaletayev met with delegation of Deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Korea, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the National Assembly Hwang Jin-ha. One of the members of the delegation was the co-chairman of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), Kazinform reports.
In December, 2008 the leadership of the ICAPP Standing Committee addressed a letter to the Kazakh President, Chairman of ?Nur Otan? National Democratic Party N.Nazarbayev with proposal to hold next standing session of the organization in Astana. In this regard, the topical issue of the meeting was the issue of holding the session.
Issues of further development of contacts between the leading parties of two countries were discussed as well. The sides agreed to sign Memo on cooperation between the parties in March-April, 2008.
