Israeli delegation to visit Kazakhstan

ASTANA. April 12. KAZINFORM An Israeli delegation headed by Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor Binyamin Ben-Eliezer is to visit Kazakhstan on April 13-15, 2010.

The delegation will take part in the V session of the Kazakh-Israeli Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic cooperation. A press conference is planned to be held within the session, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.

The session will be attended by the representatives of the Kazakh ministries and departments as well by Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel Galym Orazbakov and Ambassador of Israel to Kazakhstan Israel Mey-Ami.

The parties will focus on the issues of industrial-innovative sphere and new technologies, further development of cooperation in standardization, metrology, certification and space, agriculture, transport, tourism and healthcare.

Upon completion of the meeting the participants will sign a protocol of the V session of the Kazakhstan-Israel Intergovernmental Commission.

The press conference will be attended by First Vice Minister of Industry and New technologies of Kazakhstan Albert Rau, and Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor of Israel Binyamin Ben-Eliezer.

Besides, the members of the Israeli delegation plans to meet with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov and hold several meetings with the heads of some ministries, Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, Kazakhtelecom JSC, KazAgro National Holding and Akim of Astana.
