The warplanes carried out airstrikes on the city of Khan Younis in the south, bombarding a chicken farm on Wednesday, a Press TV correspondent reported. The aircraft, he said, continue to fly over the city, Press TV reported.

Israeli planes also attacked the city of Rafah, also in the south, targeting the tunnels beneath Gaza's border with Egypt.

The tunnels are used to bring in direly-needed supplies as Tel Aviv keeps up its mid 2007-present siege of the coastal sliver, depriving 1.5-million Gazans of food, fuel and other necessities, Kazinform refers to Trend News.
