Israel interested in agriculture coop with Kazakhstan - Yisrael Mei-Ami

ASTANA. June 2. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Israel is interested in cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of agriculture. Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Kazakhstan Yisrael Mei-Ami has announced it at a meeting with a group of Senators of the Kazakh Parliament.
"Now we are trying to raise the level of cooperation with Kazakhstan in agriculture. We know that the food problem in the world gets very serious," the diplomat said.
He noted that the issue regarding provision with food is the strategic one in Kazakhstan. Food belts around Astana, Almaty and other cities were created. "Now we are ready to join it," Yisrael Mei-Ami stressed.
