Israel detects third death among A/H1N1 patients

JERUSALEM. August 6. KAZINFORM A 12-year-old Israeli girl who developed the A/H1N1 influenza and also had a severe chronic disease died on Thursday, reported local news service Ynet; Kazinform cites China View.
It is still unknown whether the A/H1N1 virus was the main cause of her death, the third among the over 1,300 Israeli who have been diagnosed with the pandemic. The previous two deaths were a 24-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man.
The deceased girl was hospitalized some two weeks ago after contracting the A/H1N1 virus, and was released after certain treatment, said the report, adding that then she suffered a heart attack and was sent back to the hospital in critical condition, where she was later declared dead; Kazinform refers to China View.
