Islamabad marks Kazakhstan's Independence Day

ASTANA. December 16. KAZINFORM - In Islamabad Hotel called "Marriott Islamabad" there took place an official reception to mark the 22nd anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports the press release of the Kazakh Embassy in Pakistan.

Guest of honor at the event on the Pakistani side was the Federal minister and the provincial border regions of Pakistan Mr. Abdul Qadeer Baloch.

The event was attended by representatives of the Pakistani leadership, ministries and other public institutions of the country, leaders of the diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Pakistan, representatives of business, culture, academia, the media, as well as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, living and studying in universities of Pakistan.

During the event the guests were handed the books written by the First President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev, other books on Kazkhstan and international initiatives of the President.

At the reception there was a show of the video about modern Kazakhstan, its development and achievements during the years of independence, the print media have published materials on the international activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as on the implementation of the Message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev "Kazakhstan-2050 " Strategy: a new political course of the established state".
