IRENA director general highly appreciates Kazakhstan's housing and utilities infrastructure modernization

He briefed on the key provisions of the Kazakh President's Address to the Nation Nurly Zhol (The Path to the Future) and drew attention to the goals sets to develop energy, transport and logistics and industrial infrastructures. In his turn, Adnan Amin highly appreciates the Government efforts aimed at housing and utilities, water and heating supply infrastructure modernization as part of the President's initiative on the country's transition to green economy. Besides, he expressed IRENA's interest in participation in EXPO 2017. He said that the IRENA scientific and innovation and technological potential lets forecast foundation of a substantial pavilion to stir great interest among the EXPO guests.

He also confirmed his participation in the 25th session of the Energy Charter Conference set for November 26-27 in Astana.
