Iraq insists on continuing defense contracts with Russia despite US stance - official

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - Iraq hopes to continue defence contracts with Russia, despite Washington's objections, Russian presidential aide for military-technical cooperation Vladimir Kozhin said on Thursday.
"All the contracts with Iraq are being fulfilled. The Iraqis are very interested in this, and at the same time our so-called American friends are opposed to such cooperation. They [Iraqis] insist on continuing the contracts," the Russian official said. Source: TASS
