Iranian Embassy brings Nauryz celebrations to Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Astana plays a host to the Days of Culture of Iran within the celebrations of Nauryz Meiramy. The cultural representation of the Iranian Embassy in Astana is expected to stage a concert by Miras ensemble at the Mega Astana and Khan Shatyr trade centres and the Cultural Centre itself.
It also organizes an exhibition of handiworks to feature bedcovers and tablecloths, various jewel boxes, plaques, jars, vases, etc. The centre sets the traditional Nauryz festive table at the Astana Mega Centre, new Schoolchildren's Palace. Besides, a drawing competition for children aged 4-14 displays the best works dedicated to Nauryz.
The two-day celebratory events will run until Sunday evening, its press release reads.
