Iran's Ahmadinejad survives 'assassination attempt'

ASTANA. August 4. KAZINFORM Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has survived an attack on his convoy in western Iran, media reports from the region say. Kazinform refers to BBC.
The reports say the blast took place in the city of Hamedan where the president had gone to deliver a speech.
Mr Ahmadinejad was unhurt and went ahead as planned with his speech, which was broadcast live on state TV.
