"The package of proposals by Islamic Republic is updated and is ready to be presented. We hope new round of (nuclear) talks will be held to help us make a road of progress, justice and peace", Jalili was quoted as saying.

Jalili says Tehran has prepared revised package considering last years global developments and it is a basis for the nuclear talks, the report said.

In April, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Iran's new proposal package is a "guarantee of peace and justice in the world, of respect to the rights of the nations, and of participation of all the governments and nations to resolve the issues of the world." He did not elaborated whether it had anything to do with the country's nuclear standoff.

In response to West's packages of incentives to encourage Iran to halt its sensitive nuclear program, Iran offered its own package to France, Britain, Russia, China and the United States, plus Germany (G5+1) last year, in which Tehran's concern had been directed to the global issues rather than its nuclear program.

G5+1 are to meet in Germany on Wednesday to further discuss Iran's nuclear program, Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.chinaview.cn for full version.
