Iran produces joint films with Afghanistan, Kazakhstan

TEHRAN.  September 2. KAZINFORM Iran's Association of Youth Cinema produced three films in cooperation with relevant Afghan and Kazakh institutes, Iranian national news agency, Irna, reported Wednesday, Kazinform cites BERNAMA.

According to the Public Relations Department of the association, in line with promoting cooperation with Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states, the film 'Accident Doesn't Happen by Itself' directed by Amir Houshang Danaei was produced in collaboration with Kazakh Institute of People's Education (KINO) while the films 'Kohan Dej' directed by Shafaq Choupan and 'Stars Are Awake' by Mohammad Taqi Seraj were made jointly with National Afghan Film Institute.

The film 'Accident Doesn't Happen by Itself' deals with the relationship between a young Iranian Muslim man and Kazakh Muslims as well as the two countries' cultural bonds, Kazinform refers to BERNAMA.
