Iran prepared to expand all-out ties with Kazakhstan

TEHRAN. April 21. KAZINFORM Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has expressed his country's preparedness to use all its capacities to expand all-out ties with Kazakhstan.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kusainov in Tehran on Tuesday, the Mehr News Agency reported.

Iran is currently exporting technical and engineering services to Kazakhstan in the field of road and home building, Mottaki said, adding that negotiations are underway to export services in oil and gas industries.

""Annual trade between the two states is currently around 2 billion dollars, but Iranian and Kazakh presidents have stressed the need to increase the two-way trade to 10 billion dollars.""

The promotion of relations necessitates the expansion of ties in banking, joint ventures, and transportation sectors and easing the issuance of visas for traders of the sides, Mottaki concluded, Kazinform refers to Tehran Times.
