Iran crowned as champion of Asian Junior Wrestling Championship ahead of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

TEHRAN. KAZINFORM Iranˈs Greco-Roman Wrestling Team was crowned as the champion of the Asian Young Adults Wrestling Championship while the free-style team became second in the event opened in Thailand on May 8.
Iranˈs Greco-Roman Wrestling Team won four gold, four silver and one bronze medals to stand top ahead of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan ranking the second and third respectively.
In free-style wrestling category, Iranian team grabbed three silver and five bronze medals, standing second between India and Japan -- the first and third winners of the event respectively, IRNA reports.
The first and second individuals in Greco-Roman wrestling and the first person in freestyle wrestling will gain berth in 2014 China Young Adults Olympic Games.
