Investments volume in fixed assets made USD 189 bln in Jan 2011

ASTANA. February 14. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ In January, 2010 the volume of investments in fixed assets made USD 189 bln increasing by 4.3%. Chairman of the Kazakh Statistics Agency Alikhan Smailov has made it public at a briefing today.
Besides, according to A.Smailov, the growth in the transport sector made 7%, in trade - 14.%, in communication services sphere - 10.9%. The consumer price index increased by 1.7%, including the food prices increase by 3%, non-foods products - 0.5%, paid services - 1.2%.
