Interstate Emergencies Council to hold XXIII session in Moscow

The issues of cooperation and interaction between the ministries and administration of the CIS countries for prevention and post-disaster recovery will be on the agenda of the session.

9 CIS countries such as Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are expected to take part in the session.

The Interstate Council on Emergency Situation of Natural and Anthropogenic Character was established in accordance with the Agreement on mutual cooperation in prevention and post-disaster recovery of natural and anthropogenic character as of January, 22, 1993. The first deputies of the heads of the national bodies for emergency situations enter the Council.
