International research conference dedicated to 75th anniversary of scientist A. Koshanov held in Almaty

Economic scientists, experts, university workers, representatives of state bodies, society and business took part in the event organized by the Institute of Economy of the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science jointly with the University under the implementation of the President's commissions on development of science, scientific policy and social institutes of the humanities.

According to Director of the Institute of Economy Orazaly Sabden, Academician A. Koshanov made a major contribution to the development of the Kazakhstani Economic Science. Being the author of over 450 publications he founded several new scientific directions which received recognition not only in our country but including the foreign ones.

The conference participants discussed such topics as "Topical Issues of Theory and Methodology of Social Human Sciences of Kazakhstan amidst Formation of Information-Innovative Paradigm", "New Trends in Economy, History, Archeology, Linguistics, Oriental Studies, Pedagogic, Psychology, Political Sciences, Literary Studies and Other Human Sciences", "Modern Human Knowledge: State, Trends and Forecast of Development" and others.
