International Programs Center JSC opens office in Berlin

Representatives of the Office of the Federal President, German Bundestag, German Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Education and Research, leading German universities and educational institutions, students of ?Bolashak? and DAAD programs took part in the event, organized by the Kazakh Embassy in Berlin with support of the German Foreign Ministry and the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service. Kazakh Ambassador Nulran Onzhanov congratulated the participants on the opening of the representation office and read the Address of Kazakh Secretary of State Kanat Saudabayev to the participants of the event. He noted that the establishment of the representation office was initiated by the Presidentw of both countries. The main purpose is to increase the number of Bolashak scholarship holders in Germany and other countries of the continental part of Europe. German Foreign Minister Gernot Erler said that Germany considers the opening of the Center's representation office to be a great honor. Now Kazakhstani students can receive assistance of the Center's office in Germany which assured to provide necessary support to the activity of the Bolashak office.
