International freestyle wrestling tournament to be held in Kazakhstan

TARAZ. KAZINFORM - The 8th International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament dedicated to the memory of Kazakhstan's prominent public figure Dinmukhamed Konayev is set to take place in Taraz.
The event will bring together wrestlers from 10 countries, namely Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Iran, Nigeria, Italy, and Tajikistan. The prize fund of the two-day tournament will make $100,000. The opening ceremony is set to take place at the Palace of Sports Taraz Arena on July 26. According to head coach of the Kazakhstani national wrestling team Ruslan Umraliyev, our wrestlers are more than ready to demonstrate their wrestling skills at the tournament.
